SKYBOX: DC MASTER SERIES
(1993)
THIS set of 90 painted
cards (hence the term "MASTERS") plus some gimmick cards
(foil cards, “spectra” cards and 1 SkyDisk) included a
random selection of Legionnaires and a member of L.E.G.I.O.N. This
was issued during the Legion’s on-the-run phase, so many of
the codenames were from that story arc. There's a card for both
Cosmic Boy and Polestar (the adult Rokk who lost his sanity).

MANY of the Skybox
Master Series cards (but not all) were licensed to PEPSI (instead
of Skybox) for release in Mexico, and included the Pepsi logo along
with DC’s on the back of the cards. The text was in Spanish,
as were some of the names (Dragon Esmerelda, Saturna, Cosmico, Pulso).
The numbers are also different.
