(2024)
The DC HeroClix: Masters of Time expansion set explored iconic time travel narratives, alternate realities, and historical eras from across DC Comics history. The set contains 79 unique figures and features prominent sub-themes like The Return of Bruce Wayne, The Jurassic League, Booster Gold and Rip Hunter, Justice League Dark, and Dark Knights of Steel. Three Legion-related figures were included.
The release of the set was supported by specialized kits meant for both retail celebrations and standard home play. A core mechanic included in these kits are legacy cards, which allow players to bring older HeroClix figures out of retirement by providing them with completely updated rules, point values, and modernised traits that match current tournament standards. This gives older sculpts from previous eras fresh competitive relevance in modern gameplay formats without requiring a brand-new figure sculpt.
Five Legion cards were included, paired with the respective figures from the SUPERMAN and SUPERMAN/LEGION sets.
The legacy cards come in a foil-treated, glossy finish that gives them a reflective, metallic sheen which catches the light and creates a rainbow-like or reflective glare when tilted.
