LEGENDS OF THE SUPERHEROES (1979)
This was a battle between some of DC Comics' greatest superheroes and villains, broadcast across two specials: a race to stop a plot to destroy Earth, then later a roast in tribute to all of the heroes hosted by Ed McMahon. Among the villains is a very well-outfitted Mordru the Merciless, who sings, dances and rides a jetski.
