JIGSAW PUZZLES

BAM! POW! ZAP! (1981)
Manufactured by Nordevco, this 16” by 20” 500-piece jigsaw comprised covers of various comics books (DC, Dell, Gold Key … but no Marvel), and included the cover of SUPERBOY 86, which introduced Mon-El.

KRYPTO THE SUPERDOG (2005)
There were several kids’ puzzles and games released in the wake of the Krypto TV show. These two depict the Dog Star Patrol Patrol (the TV equivalent of the Space Canine Patrol Agents), produced by Mattel.

HEROES OF THE DC UNIVERSE (1999)
The artwork for the 1998 STRENGTH IN NUMBERS poster was also used in a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle produced by the Warner Bros store, only this time the set was called HEROES OF THE DC UNIVERSE. Legionnaires are shown in the dead center of the image.
