DC HEROES CONVENTION ADVERTISEMENT (GARCIA LOPEZ)

 

 

DC COMICS commissioned Jose Garcia-Lopez to produce a stunning promotional piece of their characters. The first known use of this was in the 1979 COMIC ART CONVENTION PROGRAM held in New York.
    The text blurb in the convention print masked other heroes in the image. In fact, Jose had drawn in every single Legionnaire (including Tyroc)!
    The original art for the print was discovered in recent years, and colored by a fan to provide greater clarity to the figures.
