SUPERMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES CHARACTER MODEL SHEETS

Superman: The Animated Series was produced by Warner Bros Animation and aired on Kids' WB from September 1996 to February 2000. The series was the first of several follow-ups to the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series.
   Although producer Bruce Timm originally wanted the show to have a more classic 1940s Fleischer Studios Superman-cartoon look, in the end he went for a stylised 1950s art deco feel but set during modern times, and produced a number of model sheets for the series.
   Among the characters were drawings of Chameleon Boy, Saturn Girl and Cosmic Boy, who were to feature in the episode NEW KIDS IN TOWN.
